I've been holding out on these because they were either not pro-touring, or didn't really warrant a full build thread. The idea of doing a shop update seemed like a great way to show all of the other stuff going on around the shop.
We try very hard to keep the shop and all of the projects looking the way they do. It has definitely helped productivity having specific spots for everything and having a clutter free work area.
Anytime you are in the area definitely stop by and I'll show you around the shop. Ask for Bryan or me (Phil) and let us know you are a Lateral-G memeber and I'll be happy to show you around.
We currently do not have anything planned for an open house. We wanted to do something last year, but really ran out of time. We'll try to plan something this year and will definitely post details when we make our final decisions.
Don't you mean 2012 Good Guys Give Away "Gullwing" Challenger

The chassis is mocked up at ride height and tacked together on a flat frame table. From here it will go into a fixtured jig for final welding in order to keep the chassis squared and true.
All bends are fabricated so there are no wrinkled areas that you would get from bending square tube.
Low profile frame rails and center crossmember so a 3" drop can be built into the floor in order to retain headroom.

I meant 2012 Good Guys Give Away, not 2011. I'm still shocked that the gullwing version didn't win. With all the time everyone in my shop spent voting for it, I figured it had to win!

Awesome builds you guys have going there - Please start that project thread on the 67 Chevelle - I'm always checking your website for updates on that car, I started to think that project was given up on. If I remember right doesn't have some kind of rear diffuser on it? -- Keep up the great work!
I saw two cars with RS full chassis under them tonight at the World of Wheels in Birmingham. One was a partial build and you could really see the chassis. Unbelievable!
