When I got personal plates for my Marina blue/white '67 SS396 Chevelle droptop, Oregon was offering a nice blue/white backdrop plate in memorance of Crater Lake...But all of that run were allowed jmust numbers, no letters...I made it work by asking for plate number "13867"...Any hard core Chevelle guy knows that those are the first 5 digits of a true '66-'67 Chdevelle SS396 ragtop...

(13 indicates Chevelle, 8 signifies true SS, and 67 is code for convert)

As cool as personal lic. plates are to have, because of the nature of the # of letters/numbers you have available, which actually varies from state to state, you are somewhat limited with your message...

I've seem some really cool/creative license plate frames...

I had a '67 SS396 Chevelle that had a frame that said "There's More To Life Than Gas Mileage"...

My current '67 2-Dr Chevelle PT wannabe Wagons' lic. frame says: "Homebuilt and Pro-Confused"...

Of course we've all seen the "Get In...SIt Down...Shut Up...Hold On"...

Saw a frame on a Mustangs back plate that said "If you can read this you must be a Chevy"...

I love it at yours! Here in Italy you get two letters - three numbers - two letters, I tried to talk them into giving me 300 for the numbers on my 300C but got 014

I did manage to get 454 on my Chevelle back home in Norway tho..

My bud Larry in Oregon have "Get one" on his Corvette convertible
My bud Ed in California have "XJER 100 on his Jag XJR100
