I will say though we can all figure who's who and what they are all about and from there you can choose your group of guys you like to chat with.

What bugs me is the constant,"looks great", "wow thats awesome", etc,etc on the project up dates. Great work is great work and we all know talent when we see it but a little more constructive or legitamate conversation wouldn't make every body sound like, for lack of a better word, a blowhard.
I know what you're saying Gaetano. But I remember what it was like when I first got into cars. I'm an old guy, so there was no internet to get info from; if you didn't know a good mechanic or racer to help you, you were on your own. I made every mistake known to man on my road to "getting a clue"......... So I know that cars I had and modified when I was young wouldn't hold a candle to what is built now, but I thought they were very cool.

If a guy asks for advice or critiques that's one thing. But if he's just proud of his work and posts it on this site I cannot start telling him all the things he did wrong or should change if it's an amateur build. I think we need to grow the passion for these cars and should encourage anyone who shows interest in them. Kinda goes back to the "if you don't have anything nice to say............." idea.

I enjoy your posts and info, and hope you continue to contribute. This isn't a hard core road racing site like Corner Carvers, so I certainly don't fault anyone who doesn't try it. I would encourage them to do so, as it's a ball. But to each his own IMO.

I don't think you are right Gaetano, not everybody has the ability they see in these threads, I personally thinks OK to give a compliment, now if some one is taking the pi$$ that a different matter.

When I finally get my car on the road and start racing, I will only be to happy to discuss the track with you.

I,really enjoy hanging out here every night.I have learned alot from other member's here.I have got a chance to personally meet quite of few of the folks here. They all been really nice.I think it's a good thing when you tell someone great job,or awesome work.I know it make's me feel good when someone say's that about my stuff. If you have something nice to say go ahead and say it.If someone has something negative to say I think they should keep to themselve's.

Hope I didn't offend, certainly not my intention. There are alot of guys on this site that have great dialog and the comrodity is great and I enjoy getting involved.

All I'm trying to say is that its a little annoying to go through about ten posts in a row on a project update thread of "thats great''.

I still love the site and the people here.

And thanks for the input Jody, always appreciated from you.

I have worked on every level of cars thru the years and don't have a problem telling someone they did a good job, Home builders are always doing the best they can. And your right if you can't say something nice don't say anything. Some of you guys can hang with some of the pro builders.

Sometimes it's all those attaboys that keep people from getting frustrated and never finishing their projects. If they help get one more project on the road, track, or anything else, I'll read all ten!

Thanks Greg. I wasn't really talking about anyones ability. Just the post"thats great", which I dont feel is a bad thing, but seen ten times in a row just seems a bit monotinous.(pardon my spelling).

looking forward to bench racing in the future with you
