I agree Josh. It seems that folks think somebody's elses car should meet their ideal car expectations. I see it all the time around here. I for one think your car could kick some serious ass in the RTTC type venues as they have short road course events. I know your desires and your car is perfectly executed except for them seats. Boys got to breath.

Thanks Todd!!
But man.... I LOOOOOVE my seats. What could you possibly dislike about the Cobra Missano's with the Carbon Fiber backs?? lol. Maybe a bit over priced... but i dig em.

After a month long nightmare on a "direct swap" clutch.... that ended up needing 3 weeks of R@D... i now have a McLoud twin disc in there. She's feeling pretty good now!
I think im going to bring her to Fontana drag strip and see what she runs. I have to put a drive shaft loop on her though. My goal is to get kicked out for not having a shoot on it!!

I agree. Like I said, that car is way too clean and is purpose built for you. Dont get caught in the trap of taking it out of its element and running wheel to wheel.

I've had my car for 17 years now. I remember when I used to take mine into empty commercial area parking lots on weekends and beat the hell out of it. Unfortunately for my pocket book that wasn't enough and eventually it became a dedicated track car.

My car has a $3500 paint job for a reason....... I know its going to need to be painted again some day from the track abuse.

Love the car man, enjoy.

I know your tossing that statement out half heartedly and in fun but thats really not the case.

PT cars dont have full cages, race seats, harnesses, and fuel cells and are meant to be comfortable and have good gas mileage for the long hauls.

Race cars have all the above and are purpose built. As of late we are seeing more and more of them. Probably because the original folk that started with a pt car and took it to the track realized they were having more fun on the track. Hence the added safety equipment.

Your a hell of alot skinnier than me so I felt like they pinched my legs together. I'll be interested to hear what you run at Fontana. Are you going to run slicks?

Cool vid Josh... more action than most are willing to do with their car on cam. And man there's some strong opinions of the music on this site and even more on that other site. Wow, people need to chill.

I don't know what average track day you are referring to, but the only deal I know of where there's that little time on the course is the RTTX events.

Your AVERAGE track day is 4-5 sessions of 20 minutes each at WOT throttle. And that's not a race, that's just an open track day anyone can attend all over the country with a rental car or their race car.
