Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

For those who care, there's a little bit of history on what's going on UNDER the bodywork here: http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/...60seconds.html It's not technically an Eleanor replica if it doesn't have TCP components!

As to Shelby's in general, below is a real deal GT350 (production #18). It's owned by Kevin Sittner. He is one of our dealers and the same guy who now owns our '65 test car. His Shelby has a bunch of bolt-on TCP components including the full front coilover conversion with VariShocks, rack and pinion, leaf springs with VariShock bolt-ins and a TCP torque arm. Kevin is no slouch behind the wheel- he was invited to OUSCI in 2009 and set the second fastest lap on the big track before suffering an engine related mechanical. That was in the first session of the day, on a track he'd never seen.

The attached photo was taken at Thunderhill before Optima in 2009.

Every time I see an Eleanor, I want to steal it and jump it. Is that bad?

I get the same impulse when I see one of these.

I came across another picture of Kevin Sittner's Shelby, this time coming through the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Thanks to Tony Huntimer of RaceHome.com for letting me post it here.

Eleanors are timeless. Even after all these years, those cars still look very current and up to date pro-touring rides. I'd love to have one to go along with my 69. Best looking hotrods of all time in my book 69 camaro/67 shelby

The original pic is CSE 034. ITZKirb shoots all of the cars for the L4P.com crowd...he is an amazingly talented photographer. I worked on that car for the second owner a few years back.

Here is another one I've done...

Shelby G.T. 500 E Super Snake SS021 One of 43 built.
