Pre production is August. The release date is July 11, 2014. Paramount has told them to get a move on for the next one lol.

It will take place in Tokyo, the Middle East and Los Angeles.

Just went and saw this. I'm a little bit disappointed that the show has gone away from the racing theme and turned into die hard with a few cars thrown in. Just my 2c.

Very entertaining!
If you're going to have your car get taken out in a movie- being crushed by a tank is a cool way to go... I'm just glad they didn't switch 'em up and give you back a replica, ha ha

Did you get to see the replica cars up close? I'd be interested to see pics of them/ see how well they were assembled compared to your actual car.

I agree to an extent. I mean, the lead bad guy was a former SAS soldier yet he gets his ass kicked by a street racing punk, albeit a well built one? Wouldn't happen that way in real life. Not even a chance. Thankfully though, going semi Die Hard allowed for the inclusion of Gina Carano's character. So hot!

Lol and 4 cars can bring down a plane bigger than a C130, and the runway was 20 miles long and the Rock's truck can keep up with an M5 which can keep up with a tube chassis race car lol!

Of course not but it makes for a really fun movie.
