2014 Ultimate Street Car Association (USCA) basic event rules
"16. Only the owner of the vehicle, immediate family member, or documented employee of
the builder-of-record may drive the entered vehicle in any USCA event or event
segments. The builder-of-record is defined as the person or shop that is responsible for
at least 75% of the total build. Build shop invoices & build pictures will serve as
acceptable documentation."
Not sure how they will enforce it.....

My other question is are these the same rules for OUSCI?

This should be fun. Looking forward to 2014 to get my new car out and hit a few of these. I think I'll be the owner / builder / driver.

Mark
I agree with you Mark. I was a little disappointed with that particular rule. I understand the intent, but if I had a friend that would let or wanted me to take their vehicle to an event I couldn't. It was a possibility last year. A friend registered his car and almost couldn't go because of work but wanted the vehicle to run. Just one scenario to ponder. I give Jimi and the others alot of credit though, this was no enviable task putting these rules together. Guess I better get ours done so we can come play too!

I don't know how they will enforce it, but I am pretty sure it is there to keep someone from hiring Pobst to shoe their Lincoln Town Car.

Default Ultimate Street Car

Town cars.. there was a small group
at one of the last Summer autocrosses in
Pleasanton that all had Town cars running- pretty cool

Rules for Laguna
Has anyone heard if there is a sound limit at
the first event... 105 day I can make it in the Pantera
not sure if my Firebird will pass and I know many
that ran in Vegas were really loud.. just wondering
if I need to tweak the exhaust

Starting to lighten the Firebird

Panteracer.. Norcal Bob

We -- NorCal Shelby Club -- were told that NO 105 days would be given to any "club" events. I would take that to mean that unless you're a big time sanctioned race event -- that you're not going to see 105 dbs.

But that really is for the event to answer.

I think the new limit is 90db. I don't think I own a car that can make 90db.
