What I'm hearing in the interview Tim saying he wanted a black COPO style wheel with hubcaps only in 17s? THAT would have been awesome. These are just later rally wheels in 17s with hubcaps and trim rings. Not a bad look but definitely not COPO style... and Allen knows the difference.

Jeff-
I think he was talked out of the COPO dog dish look.

I wouldn't do something modern either for wheels...rather use a wheel that resembled what the road racers were running back in that era...in a 17".

Bottom line it appears to be a well sorted out PT car.

I thought he mentioned he had a second set of COPO wheels for the car. Not sure how he could afford them, but that's what he said in the video.

FWIW - 17" Rally wheels were my second choice. Brake caliper clearance swayed me to 18" V-40's.

Dog dish would have been killer. I know you concur.

I'm with you - although I do like the rally wheels, I think this car probably deserved something a little more "trans-am" inspired. Maybe something like these in 17x12 and 17x10, finished in satin light gray:

There is something attached at the rear of the inside rear view mirror, kinda like sunglasses holder. Can't make it out though
