I think the Concept One uses an 8 rib belt. All the accessories are modified with 8 rib pulleys.

If you want to run the really small 2.35 blower pulley you have to grind to tabs off the blower snout which they say to machine off but it would be easily done and look nice with a die grinder, sanding disk and flap wheel. The other thing they recommend is you pin the blower pulley to the input shaft but almost no one does this that I have found and I have not seen any issues.

I used a large 3 jaw puller to get the stock pulley off (bending it in the process) and then pressed the new pulley adapter on with my 20 ton press.

OK, that makes sense. I didn't pick that up in the instructions. Thanks for explaining it.

It seems to me that all the systems discussed so far only relocate EITHER the a/c or alternator...from what i have researched both of these components caused fitment problems and required notching of the frame. has anyone combined (say the C1 and the vette setup) to eliminate notching all together?

Concept One should not require notching the stock subframe as far as I understand it. Have you called them and asked them? I don't think you will find a more compact setup.

C1 does look good.

Does 19303242 come with an 8Rib belt stock?

The C1 setup does fit without notching the subframe. Thats what I am currently running.

It looks like Chevrolet makes a Hybrid Custom system.

They must have liked my idea 2 years ago.
