Thanks guys, I'm stoked but it's definitely been stressful being my own contractor and trying to stay within budget Can't wait to get finished and start back into cars.

Just out of curiosity (I know nothing about building homes), could you have run a shorter beam spanning the other way to hold up the larger beam to keep an open floor plan?

Hi Jose, the other way widths are 30' and 44' deep. W/O spending a ton more money, this was the easiest way.
