Picked up the engine from the shop and had them drop it on the chassis for ease of transport and storage. It's gonna be fun trying to figure out how to accommodate for the extra 1.5" over a stock 2" cowl. Don't want 4" racer cowl look. I've always disliked that look. It's too tall. So, I have no earthly idea what I'm gonna do.

Ultra-Carbon has a new hood out called a 4" Fat Hood. The angle of the 4" is a bit wider and the sides slope down at an angle to take away some of that ugliness of the older 4" style cowl from the 80's. It doesn't look as tall in my opinion. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't have guessed its a 4 inch hood just by looking at it. You may have a winner there.

As far as cowl hoods go that one looks good.

I’d run that hood Marcus, for sure. The UC stuff is nice and fits good as well. Or...you put a body lift on it and run a flat hood...🤣

My Chevelle is old school... It has a belt driven power steering pump.
