AMAZING no matter what it is...

My buddy that was shopping for a Speed 33 ended up going with a different project that I'll post up after GNRS.... but I forgot to thank Phil for all his help, and talking to Pierre about his desires.

It's quite the conversation piece!
We dont really know a whole lot about it from a technical standpoint. We do know that it was one of two engines originally designed for offshore powerboat application. Essentially 2 LS motors joined together with custom block. It has been 'de-tuned' from the 2000hp range to a more mild 1000-ish Hp. I suppose if you are building something like a Bugatti, one V8 may be adequate but 2 V8's are better!

Some more updates of the other projects we have going on (that we can show you )

Back on the '63 Cadillac and work continues on the 'deco' style Firewall.
The owner is debating whether or not he wants the ribs chromed or painted with the firewall so we figured it might be a good option to machine them from brass as separate pieces.

Attention also turns to sorting out the structure of the front, grille and sheetmetal and improving what was there (i.e. a mess)

Before:

Welded washers must be a 'kustom' thing...

The fix:

We will also be working our way through the the sheetmetal, improving where possible (see left fender)

The tracknose '33 is moving along with the updates.

We made the lower frame, sides and center mount for the rearview mirror:

Owner decided on the final glass shape (left)

To the paint shop and currently in final assembly:

The '64 Chevelle ragtop from a couple of pages back returned from stripping with some amazing 'texture'.

Needless to say it's getting new everything. Floors, trunk, quarters, tubs...

...and tailpanel!

Lastly, some pics of a few vehicles we have squeezed in the shop as the start of builds and chassis projects:

A full build on a '69 Camaro - this one will be pretty cool. (Stay tuned!)

One for the Mopar fans:

62 Nova:

We also seem to have turned into the Fairlane Shop:

A '55 that arrived in the 'downward dog' position:

Oh, and this...

Awesome work, I especially love the tail panel on the Chevelle. Very Nice.
