Works great.

I also use a oil adaptor with a built in thermostat. Improved Racing makes one as well as Holley.

I would be interested to see your plumbing from the side of the block from the Holley thermostat piece up to the radiator. I'm interested in how you routed it and what you used to transfer the oil.

Thanks!

We will get some photos during assembly. Basically -10 AN hose. Fairly straight forward.

The Dutchboys are done with the final block sanding. Now it comes apart to get put on the rotisserie to prep the bottom and the firewall.

Working on cleaning up the wiring on the LT5 crate harness. The LT5 uses 2 ECMs.

Lots of wires

I guess the 2nd ECM triggers the other new port injection system. How are they activated, engine rpm?

That's what I'm wondering, too, Simon. I didn't realize these engines had two ECU's

The 2nd ECM S53 is basically a slave ECM that drives the 8 extra Port Fuel Injectors. It is controlled by CAN messaging from the primary E99 ECM. The engine calibration lives in the E99 ECM.

This is needed because a LT5 has 8 Direct Injectors and 8 PFI injectors.

HP Tuners has cracked into the ECM so now you can tune it.
