No comparison! For 22 years I despised the TH350, now I want to drive it every day. A major limitting factor of the TH350 was cruise RPM, now 60-65 is 5th at 1900-2100 and 70-75 in 6th at 1900-2100 vs. 3000-3600 rpm.

The close ratio T56 Magnum's gear ratio are spot on for the 355 ci with 3:50-3:73 gearing. 1st gear is actually usable.

I have always felt the Camaro platform was design for a manual trans first, the auto option more for convenience.

Looks like us Home Boys are finally hitting the stride on this thread!!! Damn nice cars, I know we can't budgit the $$$$ that the upper crust has but ,we can at least answer a question without saying " I'll have to ask my builder", Or giving a line of Bull****, that we know is crap !!! Have at It !!

FINALLY!!! A car without rust repairs ever!!! None before, none coming!!! Cant come to modifying it tough....

...So, '67 Camaro project with my laying around stuff out of my black 'vert. 468 BB and YSI blower, braked th400, 12 bolt/spool, 35 splines etc. Complete Calvert suspension front and rear. 30x13.5 ET Streets, caged, lightened, slammed and running low 9's "Street car"
