Not even tempting. She helped me reinstall the hood on the 67 yesterday. So fun to watch her turn wrenches. Looking forward to her helping install the engine.

Thanks for the props! Funny thing on the wheels - I bought these 7 years ago. Still happy with them!

I need to get better on updating my thread. One would think being a Mod and always here it would come natural! Go figure... Anyways I'm still plugging away. I have been working on the bumper fitment, rear exhaust area, radiator hoses, dash, console and other things . I had Sherm's Chrome rough the bumpers in for me. These started out as 3 piece bumpers that have been welded together as 1 piece smoothies. Of course nipped and tucked for a nicer fit. Took a lot of work to get them to fit like this but well worth it. I really wanted the lines of the front bumper to match up with the fender lines as they swoop down. I ended up raising the bumper 1/2" to clear the front apron and moved back over an 1" to make this happen. Kind of needed the extra ground clearance anyways with as low as it is. Well here are the final pics...

I made the side mounting brackets with 3/4" round tubing with right & left hand rod ends. Makes it real easy to set perfect gaps. Ignore the extra stud on the bumper. That will not be used and taken off before chroming.
