They seem to be determined to chemo and rad you regardless. I thought understood you to say that none of the recent tests (short of biopsy) have shown any
cancerous cells?

That is a fact Jeff.... I'm waiting now on the biopsies they took during this procedure (ERCP). What I think they're going to tell me -- is that they only found DEAD cancer cells.... we shall see.

That would be the ironic part wouldn't it? I cure myself only to have a foreign object be the problem. Oh well WTH.....

The Econoweld perfect.

Working in the medical field with seniors, we always say plan for the best but expect the worse with the caveat that as long as you are able to, continue to live and love as best you can as long as you can simple as that.

When will I or anyone of us die? Doesn't matter but having the mental faculty to be able to make decisions while living and preparing for any eventualities is the best anyone can do - do not go gentle into that good night buddy keep sinking and hitting them shots

I've felt better today than I have in weeks...... of course they "cleaned out" the stent - so that has to let the liver / bile duct thing function better and it's obviously working....

The pathology report is up on the Mayo website - but of course they're having website issues today and it's the only report I can't download and read.... and it holds the info on my condition that I seek.

Thanks Ness!

Since they cleared out the "sludge" in the stent -- I have about 1000% more energy. Must have been plugged a bit more than I thought.....

No report back from Mayo yet -- waiting for a F I S H test from pathology.....

How invasive is a stent flush? Is this something you could have done on a maintenance basis until you sort your options?

Good question Jeff and I won't know that until the followup meeting with the surgeon. Trust me - since that's the only thing that will keep me alive -- I will be asking this question of him!!
