I have not done that yet, but I would like to before they close it next year. I know that Steve (gerno) has run there and really likes it also. I'm hoping he gets his car back together and we can perhaps make a trip there before it's gone. It's not that far away, I just haven't had time to make it this year!

I also want to run COTA. I missed an event there last weekend since I was up in Fort Worth. I will get to one in the near future though...

It will be together soon...... I have a credit for a Sunday at TWS since last time I was there the axle started making noise. I have to use it before they are gone.

Thanx again for putting on a great event! I will certainly do my best to make it up there the next time you put one on. TOW and I feel we can do better.

Now, about this weekend. My neighbor noticed the following on TOW tonight:



I'm not sure exactly what that is, but it's bigger than a nail I believe. Too big to be patched, especially how I drive her.

I immediately started checking online, and it looks like one Discount Tire locally has a pair of the Falkens in the 315's I need for the rear. Since I'm replacing those, I'll also do the fronts in the 275's (which they miraculously also had exactly 1 pair of) to keep the car matched. It sucks to replace them, since they still have good life left, but I'll keep the other 3 for future backups.

So for the moment, I'm still on for GG. Looks like I may be driving through some rain to get there!
