Sorry to hear your day got cut short, at least it back together for next time. If you want take Charlie's car until you decide on a second car for yourself.

A "minor" issue really.... and was fixed immediately without hesitation on the engine builders part. It's racing - it's a racing engine - stuff happens when you're pushing it. I'm okay with the outcome despite the shortened seat time.

Yep, you set the expectations properly and you are less likely to be extremely disappointed.

You should get one of those stock cars (Charley's or otherwise). Pretty cheap fun if you ask me.

CHEAP?!?!?!?! That bastage has already cost me about 400 grand!! So much for the "cheap" 40K race car....

The stock cars are "relatively" inexpensive... and they're supposed to be easy and fun to drive.... but I really would rather shop for another Mustang or Camaro or Corvette -- vintage.... OR..... My Nomad would make a really nice donor car and would make an interesting body. Plenty of room to set the motor back a bit... I'd do a big inch LS.... and either modify my current Jim Meyer chassis --- or maybe do something else under it... big tubs... gutted -- pure race car. I've been "thinkin" on it a bit since Sonoma!
