Hey All!
Sorry for not having posted in a while but we've mostly been waiting on parts like *cough, cough* the gas tank from Ricks Hot Rod Shop(Man, that thing is taking FOREVER! Too bad since we have a photo shoot for a certain magazine but it won't make it in time!) and the R & P from Woodward. We've been told that both should be arriving sometime this week. Sean has been working on the gaps of the car to get it ready for paint so nothing really new as far as fab. Some of the stuff that HAS come in:
Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft. All the stuff behind it on the rack is the Fast/Comp Cams stuff they sent us for the fuel system!
Fesler Hood Hinges
Forget The Rest And Buy The Best!
Pictures do not do these hood hinges justice! They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Thanks Chris for coming on board and joining the team!
Wilson Hood Pins
Ron Wilson was nice enough to send me a pair to mock up and see if I wanted to use them. Marty was right! If you are thinking of running hood pins these are top notch! Nothing even touches these for quality and looks!
When the gas tank and R & P come in we can finish off the trunk area and start to close up the quarters along with locating the dry sump tanks in the engine compartment.
I'm going to incorporate a Safecraft fire suppression system in the car and I'm trying to decide whether I should go with 2 5 lb bottles and seperate them. One for the engine compartment and one for the passenger compartment or if I should just get a 10 lb bottle and plumb them into both compartments? Push/Pull knob for activation or auto-temp sensing heads? FE-36 or Halon? I'm thinking auto-temp for engine compartment and push/pull for passenger compartment
