Front splitter, bolt on deal?
I know your seat time is limited in this car, have you ran with and without wing and splitter? Curious to see if times or even seat of the pants feel is any different.

The splitter has a simple square tube frame that slides into a pair of small reciever pockets welded to the crossmember. The front is supported by two small turnbuckles attached to the bumper core support.
I have limited seat time period.
The car had the wing and splitter when I bought it so I have never run without them.
I added the larger end plates after I blew the first motor (2 Outings to Streets).
I ran the car at Buttonwillow and once at streets and the second motor let go. It was during that rebuild that I sorted all the other issues out and built the radiator duct and added the hood vents. I also added the traqmate data aquisition at that time so I only have data since then. I changed so many things at once I would be guessing to say what does or doesn't make a difference.
Although I have not been able to really test the wing or splitters effectiveness yet in the future I will use some data to try and tune it. The rules do allow me to run a larger splitter and I have a set of canards for the car. Once I feel consistant in the car at a track and have some data I will try a larger splitter, the canards and possibly run the car without the front splitter to weigh the advantage of grip vs drag.
Big hole in the firewall patched with expansion foam?

That is another story.
