I see a gusset (triangulation) coming from the area of the four bar attachment out to the perimeter frame? Isn't that where most of the load/force is?

I'm not a suspension or chassis guy --- and I see the gusset you refer to.... but I'm thinking there's a lot of load on the 2X4 chassis where it's narrowed and attaches to the main frame. Only thing holding that entire back half ---- the weld to the main frame - and that's also it's narrowest point. May be that it's just perfectly "more than adequate".... I don't know.
Thanks guys sorry its been awhile since ive been on to post.
Have been playing a lil catch up ,
since the frame has been done I decided with the frame looking pretty smooth was time to smooth up the bottom of the car thus been at that and working on the body getting it ready for paint.
As for the frame what was done is the orginal main rails of the frame actually going into the rear boxed area of the frame and are welded inside and out to really tie it together and used a strong v shaped gusset to tie together as you see and then I welded up the end caps to finish the boxed look to the frame and even added a number 48 from an old liscense plate to give it a lil style lol
Sorry for the lack up of updates ill try and keep you updated projects coming along pretty well getting really close to paint.
Hey sorry for following up so slow on the pics.
YES working on smoothing up the entire bottom of the car and decided to do it body color!
Ill be sure to get you up to speed color really close finally!
Thanks George
