The build is looking awesome. On the 408 you had, what valve covers were you using?

Thanks ! Those were blue thunder valve covers. Getting hard to find em but they pop up once and awhile.

Starting to get the engine together and make some decisions on the trans. I'm thinking this car may just go 4 speed with something stupid strong. I've had two cars with Magnum T56s and while it's an awesome trans, I prefer the "chunk chunk" of the old 4 speeds. It's also far lighter, smaller, and I'll probably hardly ever drive it on the freeway. Rear gear looks like it's gonna be 3.89s or 3.73s. Engine should go 9000+ RPM.

The barrels are finished in a brushed stainless powder that gives em sort of a pearl appearance. I needed something easy to clean as the spokes get tight out on the edges.

More to come!

Sorry Joe, not much at all. Been working hard on the Henry J lately so it's kinda been my focus. I also have a restoration coming to a close soon on another car for a customer and it's another vacuum of time lol. Still trying to figure out what to use to power the Fairlane. I have a built 351c with top stuff in it, a single turbo Boss 302, and access to a few Windsor strokers. Can't decide
