69 Front valance

Sorry I didn't mean to imply anything, but you seem to be a little put off.
I usually have alot of patients strapped to my ass in a busy Emergency Room and can't always take all my calls.
I did talk with Chris today, nice guy, helpful. But I wish they would mention that the valance will not work with stock light bezels, they will work with their bezels however these are larger.
Also you HAVE to notch the brace about a "playing card" to make it fit.
SO it isn't a bolt on piece without mods.
Also a 20% "restock" fee for sending it back-about $110 BUMMER.

Not put off at all I am just letting you know that he literally caries the phone around everywhere he goes at work. So it should be really easy to get a hold of him.

Chris at Marquez just Emailed me and stated that because of no defects, etc. that they will not cover S/H back.
I wish I had known prior to buying the part that it IS NOT just a simple bolt-on and that only their bezels fit the park light holes.
I have another sponsor's lights that I REALLY like and did not want to change.
It is a nice piece that I wish would have worked since it cost about $150 to look at it.

I am sorry that you did not want to cut your support bracket and had turn signals from someone else. It really makes the car look aggresive in my opinion.

Got mine mounted, Drilled out the spot welds on my original valnce and put the center bracket on the new piece. Like the look!

Hey Roy, that's a great idea! How did you attach the bracket to the new valance, epoxy or glass? Looks like a great project, I was also wondering what wheels are those...

Great looking car. Like the gasser wheels and good Idea with the bracket, I would do it but the part I took off was original sheet metal. I am not a chalk marker, but I have a hard time cutting up original 69 sheet metal. I will hord it up in the attic

Great idea...wish that I would have thought of it before I cut the attachment point off of my support brace.

I'll try to post up some pics of the bracket that I fab'd to accomplish the same thing. It turned out ok, but it doesn't look as clean as your idea.

We drilled the spot welds and then mixed epoxy, drilled and rivoted the brack in a bed of epoxy. When dry just sanded off the aluminum rivots. The wheel are Gasser D's, 18x12 in back. The pic of the car at the bottom is how I got this car before I began saving it!
