Finally some pics of where we are headed. I am not quite sure I am happy with light placement yet, I will know better once we cut the new center inlet opening. I am waiting to cut it until I mount a RS hood release to know exactly where it needs to go. You may be able to see the outline of my proposed cut. Don't pay attention to the sheetmetal fitment, none of it is aligned, just thrown on to visualize the valance installed.

I like the looks of that thing! This is for 69 lights correct? The holes look pretty big, I am anxious to see it all together with lights ect. Nice work

Nice progress Mike! I like the placement of the lights. Do you plan on making the opening in the center a little bigger than what's drawn?

Yes for 69 lights, I cut a 69 valance up just for the openings?

The size of the opening is still in the air. I don't want it as big as the original. As drawn it is 2 inches, may go bigger, i will see when i start cutting.

Update, we are going to have to move the lights some due to them being located right were the bumper brackets exit. I want to be able to market these to the "bumper runners" as well, so we are now sacrificing another GM valance for the greater good.

I am down for one since you are going to have it for the front bumper. I dunno, always like the look with the bumper, but 67-68's look cool without it too.
