I guess I will look into that then. We have a Chevelle trunk lid sitting in the office because the clear peeled off in one spot.

What would be the best single stage black to go with?

I started on the floor today. I got one rear seat section cut out, it is the worst part of the floor I can do. The passenger rear I need a pan for so I didn't do that first. The rest of the floor should be a piece of cake since the rust isn't that bad. I cut out the rust with a cutoff wheel and then used the cut piece to make a rough outline onto some quarter panel metal off a 72 cuda'. Then I set the cut piece under the car and rested it on the muffler, then used some black paint to get a spot on outline. The piece needs a little bit more trimming but it pretty much fits perfect. I was going to weld it earlier but someone else is using it, so I might do it later today.

Also some pics of the bodywork below. The right side still needs to be sanded down. Thanks Bob for the extra trunk lid.

Did someone run their finger through the mud on the passenger quarter there?

The car is looking great! Keep up the good work.

Lol yeah.

I ordered some pins and bushings last night, I can't wait to get them on. You have to lift up the door and push it with your knee at the same time to close it. You can't even close the passenger door from the inside.

Hoping to have it painted next week. It just feels like I am missing alot of stuff.

Got the passenger door pins in, still need to adjust the door since it still won't close right, may do the drivers side Wednesday. Still waiting for the body work to be finished so it can be painted.

I dropped $800 on interior Sunday night. I ordered carpet, seat covers and the seat foam plus the install kit. Now I am broke again lol. All I have left is $500 and that goes to paint.

Tomorrow I plan on having the car inspected if it's not too hot, I tried Friday and it failed for the crack in the tail light and loose headlights. Going to hook the A/C up tomorrow also.

Yeah, it's bad lol. I got a drivers side tail light in good shape, I just need 4 adjusters for the high beams and to sew the passenger seat belt.

Getting all the looks is fun but cops are looking too, got pulled over Friday for no inspection... Got off with a warning.

I fixed the timing today, I didn't know you had to do it with the advance plugged. Man, the car runs amazing now, it hasn't put a smile on my face like that in a long time. It use to backfire and die at WOT..
