She's home!!

I picked the chevelle up last friday and have been trying to dirve it as much as possible, when its not raining of course.

Gearhead garage did an awsome job on everything i asked them to do.

Were now in the test and tune portion of the build. That includes: Shift firmness, shift points, steering and just keeping an eye out for anything i think should be addressed.

Jason at Gearhead told me to put about 500 mi on the car and keep a detailed list of any concernes and he'll take care of it.

NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Now as far as performance. This thing is a beast!

Fast as sh*t, Stops on a dime and handles like its riding on rails.

I will take detailed pics with my Canon DSLR when the sky clears up a lil bit.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Thanks

Thanks guys!

As far as the way the engine sits. That's the way the motor mounts came. I was told it helps with the pinion angle. But I don't know. My motor and trans mount was made by BRP does anyone know if that's how the engne is supposed to be?

Yeah they are a great crew to work with. I'll have to see it around.

Enjoy it.

Yeah baby!! The Chevelle family is alive and well. Here's mine....watcha think? I just got my 408 stroker 6.0 from Texas Speed & Perfrmance. It will be installed by the time it warms up & the local car shows begin. I like your color. I pretty much like any shade of blue.

Nice ride 509!

Hey Nick,

Still trying to get some miles on this thing.

Im sure you following the weather being from nor-cal aswell.
(kind wet out there)

Im running the QA-1 12-way adjustable coilovers and the ride is way stiffer than id like so in going to switch those out for RCD Bilstein shocks.

As far as the engine performance. ITS HOT!!!

I am looking to put a Magnacharger TVS2300 on it by this summer just for giggles.

Im gonna bring it back to gear head when the weather clears to do a lil ecu tuning.

But heres a pic for now.

Yea..wet

Let me know when you think about doing that, I have Bilstein's new in the box here and if you want to do some trading around let me know I might want to try those QA1's. I have a lift here at my shop so we could swap parts here. Keep me posted, we are not far at all from each other.

I'll let you know if I know of anyone looking for wheels .
