Jody congrats on the color change. Alot of guys would leave the old color and then be reminded of fact they did not change the color everytime they see that certain angle.

I have some parts off my truck currently to do some similar things that nobody else will ever notice, But If it is not right, I will always know what could have been.

OK Jody...who ya kidding?

Seriously, excellent choice on both the color and the wheels.I totally understand what you're saying about the color,my friend who painted my '69 also painted another '69 a very similar shade to yours.I was there the next day when it was still in the booth because I was picking up my c/f spoiler that I had them lay on more clear while they were there.I remember them test-fiting the spoiler by hand on the car in the booth and it looked killer, that color really was rich. But when they rolled it out into the sun,it almost took on kinda a feminine lavendar tone that really was off-putting.I would not have been happy had that been my car.

Bet it really pops in the sun...
Oh and PS:I think you need to go back to charcoal on the spokes against that Silver.

I really like the new changes, the color looks great. I've always loved those wheels . They make the car look rugged, like its ready to take on anything.

Looks great!!

At least I changed my mind about the color my car was painted before I re-assembled it. I give you props for taking it down again. My 2nd go seems to be taking me a lot longer too. Did you just scuff and shoot?

used the old paint job as a base and blocked the car again, sealed it, and shot the new color.

Thanks everyone for the comments, much appreciated.
