These are for a Mustang by the way, so if the chevy ones are different, I don't know. Anyway, Mike told me he couldn't get them any other way than chrome (i believe they sell them black too). That's what he told me. From what i understand, they have no say so in the entire process because they couldn't sell me a bare casting. I assume they're cast somewhere, then sent to a chromer. It just doesn't mke sense to me that they can't intercept a set and send them to me. I'd pay the same price and they would save by not having them chromed. I want them bare because i may paint them or brush them. Maybe it's too big an operation and getting one set is too difficult?

they are different than the chevys and that must be the reason. the chevys come in a couple colors along with polished (not chrome).

that process is awesome. that opens up all sorts of new possibilities. i wonder how even you can get the finish over a large part (bumper)?

btw, my handles came ups today and they look amazing!

im looking for a brushed finish. ive done a ton of work to the bumper and dont want to pay 3-5k to have it chromed. i was planning on painting it since i can work it with fillers and primers, but this opens up another option.
