Tim worked at Steve's Auto Restoration for approx 10 years. He worked on some very popular high exposure builds while working there.

Nice to read the good report and some background info to go along with that awesome Challenger build I've seen pics of.

I've hired just nothing has worked out. The problem is here that I take in projects that I'm really going to enjoy and do them at a very reasonable rate and when you factor in the cost of living around the area (one of the highest I've seen in California) its hard to pay good wages while covering overhead and make a few bucks to factor in the headaches. I also like working with people who are devoted to the work and like to hang around and learn while not working, I haven't been able to find that. I'm always trying to learn new things and improve on things I already know, I'd like someone similar. A lot of people don't like working for a 25 year old so that makes it difficult as well.

So I am open to hire if anyone thinks they have what it takes or is willing to give it a try.

I forgot all about this one. This is the first vehicle I built. Did everything on it myself with the exception of paint and upholstery.

Your a spitten image of what I went through and still am going through. After 5 employees and 6 years later I finally found a good one. He does get paid very well and has medical. You need someone with morals ,work ,ethic and love for what we do. Finding him or here is like winning the lottery. The level of work at your age will only make you work harder and better and when you least expect it your dream worker will show up. I know it's a pain in the ass. We build high end product and all seed and done we don't even have two nickels to rub together. Finding the write worker is half the stress. Finding a customer with deep pockets to just make a decent living is the other half. But any how good luck and maybe will meet some day.

I guess that's "Life" right? Great words and you do great work! I've been following the Cuda build, very impressive work! I'm not too concerned of the employee. It would be nice to get more done but I like doing everything myself because then I know exactly how its done and that it's done right.

Thanks. It's not much compared to the stuff you're building but I'm trying. If you buzz me your email address I may be able to let a couple sneak out.

Trust me I feel the same way. That's the battle in this bizz. Either do it yourself and build one or two a year or deal with the headache of two many employees (if you find the right ones). Thanks for the props on the Cuda.

Robbie is a top notch guy we have met a few times and his work is outstanding. Watch out for him as you will see some bitchen vehicles from him

One upcoming is a '66 GTO I've posted some photos of before but haven't updated in a while and a '71 Chevy pickup in a couple years. Here's some shots of our stuff:

GTO chassis. Car is being blocked right now at the paint shop. The owner wanted to work of the stock chassis with bolt on suspension as his Mom is the second owner of the car and he wants it to look mostly stock on the outside.

Here's the work under the hood. I did all of the machine work, aluminum work and sheetmetal fab in house.
