I pretty much have you all smoked - '74 Datsun long bed pickup. At least it was red.

Replaced it with a '66 GTO when I graduated in '76.......slight improvement but the truck was definitely a better dirt bike hauler.

The same POS I waste money on now a days. There was enough NOS in that engine to put a small rocket into orbit. I think that was the cars 5th engine, my 2nd, and at least the 4th trans.

48HP VW Rabbit diesel. I'm not kidding 48HP. Old ladies in American V8 s would beast me from stoplights when they were half throttle.

Class of "73" Voted most likely to abuse a motor vehicle!
I still have the bill of sale for the Z/28
I have a 67 ss chevell, I am always jealous of the guys that actually lived those muscle car years, I was born 72,

My first ride was a 1962 Ford Van with a 289 engine… and 3 speed column shift. I primmered it, added some nice seats, and a new stereo system. I remember cruising around listening to Ted Nugent “Cat Scratch Fever”, Foghat “Slow Ride” and stuff like that… good music and fun times in the 70’s (class of '77).

I bought my 69 Camaro when I was 21 for $2,200 and I’ve had it ever since. Now I just spent twice that to upgrade the trans, Lol.

Clever legislators here limited you to 250cc on your learners. I'm guessing they never heard of RGV's or RS250's!...and yeeeep, I dropped it...more than once lol!

I had my 69 camaro that is currently being built. Got it when I was 13 (on my birthday). Was primer gray and 307 3spd manual car. Ended up getting it painted and swapped in a 355 / ST-10 4 speed. Ran ok, but nothing like it will be
