Thanks guys, that hood was a definite pain in the ass to get the same as the rest of the car texture wise. Taking my time on it paid off using the finer grit discs.
Got more pics of the hood. I will post pics of what I used on my paint for some of you that may want to try doing this yourself. You must know if you try this you can and will ruin your paint, so if you try it be carefull! I got some more of the front wiring, relays, and other things buttoned up today as well.
Here are a couple more shots of the hood that I had. Thanks again for the kind words guys!
Thanks for the kind words Trey, your car is looking great as well nice job you did on the engine bay and the frame and the rest of the car. That's a nice Vette in the background as well
Been a while since I have updated this slow build so here goes. Got started putting the motor together.
That's about it for now waiting on the other accessories for the front of the motor.
Thanks for looking.
Did you get the tires yet? What size are you shooting for?
I was looking at your pictures and was wondering, are you running the bttery in the trunk? It looks like it... But i see the long black (ground ?) wire and wasnt sure why its going back to the front (if its what it does?) ??.
Keep posting pics, i love the color too! I usually am not too much of an "out of the box" kind of guy when it comes to paint schemes but i really dig yours!!
You should give us some details on what you use and the steps to get a finish like that!! I have everything to do the job (tools) but have always been afraid to try it out! .... I find it little scary, even if i do every other part of the builds myself lol!!! That one always has be braking!
Cheers!!
Lead.
