I could be wrong too, but I doubt that Ford is making their own seats. They look identical to the Sparco Modena's which were used by different OEM's (ie Ferrari, Ford GT?)

Thanks guys. We are really looking forward to this one. Everything pictured is from a 1012 mile wrecked GT. The mustang will have the heart of the GT. We have yet to find good suspension from a GT. The rebuilders use it first on the buildable wrecks. It is extremely hard to find. We are still working on it. If we do not find suspension by mid September, we plan to use 2002 Dodge Viper ACR corners. We must start the chassis. We will build the chassis here at the shop with the help of Art Morrison. They will help bend our rails on our custom made chassis other than suspension and cooling we plan to use Ford GT.

Thanks
Mike

Factory Five has a car called the GTM, "I think", it is a rear engine V8 and uses Porsche Parts for the rear. I'm wondering it that would solve your search for the rest of your car.

Take Care,

TY

Didn't intend to hijack your build thread Mike. The GT seats with carbon fiber frames are definitely trick.

Sorry,

We are in the throws of Playboy Mansion show on October 17th and then SEMA. We have four cars were are finishing right now. We will get to make some good progress in about 4 weeks on this one. I was still trying to get GT suspension corners. I gave up this week when Ford told me no. We will use Dodge Viper or C-6 vette stuff. We are leaning towards ACR viper corners.

I will post as soon as I have new pictures...

Mike
