Cool.. maybe we will be ready for the track at the same time? I am hoping in the next month to get to the track. The car should be running and driving in 2-3 weeks.

I have a meth/water inj kit that came with my motor (can't remember the brand) but since I have added an intercooler I won't be installing it right away. Maybe down the road.

From what I have read, the water/meth injection is supposed to be pretty good for the engine? Help clean out deposists and keep the engine clean internally. Not sure how true it is?

Well each has different benefits. And it depends on what mix, if any, you run. If you run all water, you are gaining the cooling benefits. If you run all meth, you are essentially allowing more timing to be ran and/or more boost to be safely run (some liken it to a "shortcut" alternative to running race gas).

I like a 50/50 mix as you get some benefit of each.

Very cool Dave.
Yeah I was talking about the 50/50 ratio. Good to know. Thanks for the info!

My personal opinion aside, I offer my congrats. I understand it's called 'JoyBoy' and it'll debut at the Raymond Massey Institute for Advanced Theatrical Studies later this month.

So congrats to this very deserving Camaro owner for his soon to be 15 minutes of fame!

Skipper, don't quit your day job anytime soon.

Good timing for bumping this thread actually I finally got some updated pics from Jason... I haven't been up to Sac to see the car in prolly 2 months, but I will be up there soon. Multiple reasons for the delays (on both ends) but here is where we are now....

reshaped the intercooler plumbing to my liking (was offset before)

rear bumper delete mod! need to get a damn license plate on there to finish it off

fire extinguisher installed!

True Flash, I'll try to keep my Seinfeldian humor contained to your thread. No need for others to suffer needlessly.

Well, from here it's looks all healed up... and certainly won't be confused with other '68's.

BTW that bumper delete deal is a fashion statement that works!
