Well this is why repo parts suck. Stock glass was all scratched up so we need new glass. Easy right?

We went through 4 sets of glass to get door glass that fit.

First set the glass was wavey

Second set the door glass curvature was way off. Could not be made to deal

Third set same bad curvature

Forth set fit and was not wavey

WOW! That's huge!!!
I'm skeptical about using Fesler flush mount glass on my 69. I've read good things and bad, about the quality. Luckily he is only a few hours from me, but still, I have to wonder about QC.

Where were you getting your glass from?

And if your luck is like mine and you get a big ‘ol rock chip in the first 50 miles of driving (I-17 north, verde valley) you’ll only be kinda miffed, not totally pissed!

I went home yesterday and there was a nice article in Road and Track
about Mark and his cars. Good to see the protouring guys are
getting National attention... Mark has always been a standup guy
Came by and talked to me when I had my car at Sema for the
Optima Challenge...

Congratulations Mark and thank you again for helping all
of us with your knowledge

Bob

Hey Mark,

The craftsmanship and attention to detail is really beyond compare on your builds - truly at a different level. Congrats!
