Congratulations on the Award. Sorry I missed that show...sure would love to see that car move on its own power.

What's the deal with the hood prop holding up the hood? Did the hood hinge shocks go out already? How does the hood stay closed...I don't see the front hood latch?

Can't wait to see a Video of the car running and driving around.

Joe

John --- If you touch the screen on the iPhone where it's dark (or light) before taking the picture... it will adjust the light. So try just touching it in various places where there are light and dark spots and see what it does - and when you find the right "light" then snap the photo.

Car looks great and congrats on the award!

Thats an old car show trick....the hinge springs or shocks don't support the hood low enough to see both the engine and hood details. So you gotta prop.
We use to drill a hole in the hinge so you can install a temporary pin but after several damaged hoods from people forgetting about the pin it was a bad idea. Even with the remove before flight tag.

Car looks great and sounds even better John.

I remembered after posting my comment that their are no shocks on the hood hinges. I still don't see any hood latch cut out in the new radiator support cover.

Can't wait to hear it run...

There is no hood latch (well visible at least). Its a secret on how it stays closed.

We did end up taking home another award at a small local show. WooHoo!!!
