Nice work Brett! I'm assuming the notches in the exhaust pipes are to detune that monster under the hood?

It's hilarious. I've heard it running and with that exhaust the motor actually sounds like something it isn't

The last time I saw this guy -- he was rubbing his head and mumbling something about his lips being numb…

Oh those were good times!

Brett delivered the car on Friday night. I've driven it about an hour straight, then lots of shorter trips in between. I pulled the seats out last night and pulled the console to finally install some gauges in the car along with the new Hurst Blackjack shifter. Got almost everything done today and will post up some pics this week.

Initial driving impressions are outstanding. The car has better corning ability at autocross speeds and is more compliant when pushed. It's a nice noticeable difference. The car feels much more solid at speeds above 40--like it's stuck to the road and is tracking it much nicer than before. The ride is greatly improved with this setup as well. No weird vibrations and the rear end makes no new noises at speed---no whine whatsoever. Brakes are still breaking in so I haven't had the chance to really smash the pedal but will get to that in another week or so. The car sits more than a half inch lower than previously all the way around. I will get some pictures of it this week and post them up. Meant to do that on Saturday but was too involved driving the car and getting used to it again. The exhaust is way, way cool. It's really tame at idle but the motor actually sounds like something once you get going. I'm getting used to it---but like it a bunch so far. Need to get it aligned and ready for the Del Mar autocross coming up over Thanksgiving weekend---that should be a great time and will be a good first test for the car. Hats off to Brett---the work done so far has been top notch and very professionally executed. Couldn't be happier thus far---great, great work in getting it to sit the way I wanted it too. It's great to have it back and to be able to work on it again myself---it's half the fun for me. Thanks again Brett!!

LOL---absolutely---240 was too much, pull about 40 out through the exhaust to get back to where we were before.
