Brent, major milestone. You’re correct, the paint is beautiful and I can only imagine how much nicer it’ll be once the cut and buff process takes place. I planned on selling my 55. You’re making me reconsider.

Beautiful color and excellent craftmanship on paint and chassis. One awesome car. What is your timeframe for completion?

I get the body back the end of June. It will be all cut and rubbed. Then I have all my assembly, wiring etc. I'm hoping by Spring time. Need to lock down who is going to do the interior...

Love the color selection for sure now that I am seeing it on the car. Are you keeping all of the trim? I see the holes for a lot of it still in the body. I don't know these cars well enough to know if it's all of it though. Congrats on making this huge milestone, Brent.

Fantastic work, Jim!

Thanks!! Been along road coming for sure. Jim does amazing work. In regards to the trim.. Yes.. I'm leaving all of the trim on the car, except the bird on the hood and smoothed the trunk. This is a 210 so it does not have as much trim as the Bel Air.

Been making some progress the past couple weeks. Got the motor back from Horsepower by Geralomy. He just cleaned it and checked it all out. Gave it a fresh hone and good valve job. Our resident "Grand Poo Bah" Jody Bernard gave me hand putting it all back together. I then primed it a couple times and gave a couple coats of satin black and spent quite a bit of more time polishing hardware. Motor is done now. Joey, my youngest, and I put the heads on it the other day and adjusted the valves. Exhaust is out getting Cerakoated. Transmission and driveline is all buttoned up. Just a simple 4L80E with the typical mods with a 10" Pro-Torque 2800 stall lock up converter.
