Default Garaged Built

My 1979 Z-28 RS is garage built. Even the paint job was painted in my friends garage. I do what I can do, and I have friends of whom I`ve learned from and helped over the years help me. A man got to know his limitation.

I basically tore it down to a bare shell and rebuilt everything from there.

On the dyno it did 655rwhp, and 550rwtq.

For the little bit I've driven it (to dmv and alignment shop), its a pretty fun little ride....

He had a friend spray the paint and his local upholsterer did the stitching.

Thanks! Most of our customers are doing the bulk of the work themselves. When Chris started developing the first backhalf kits in the 80s the whole point was to make it simple enough that someone with average skills, and a healthy helping of common sense, could do the job at home on a flat garage floor.

But, since you want me to post more pics, here ya go!

Kevin Graf's '62 Chevy II was built in his one car garage. Adding pics to the Facebook album daily. He did the chassis, cage, interior tinwork, wiring, and the bodywork.
