Sitting on that bench in paint at retail has to be in the $4,000-$5,000 range. And that isn't even including the other things it takes to do one. Sandpaper, tape, paper, plastic etc.

Some people just don't understand why it costs so much to paint a car. But when you wrap up 5-6 grand up in materials it really adds up on top the the hundreds of hours it takes to get the car into final paint.

Thanks Paul! ..and everybody else that chimed in! I hoped you guys would share for the folks at home that have no idea, how the numbers add up so quickly.

You should still be using my clear buddy maybe some day you'll be ready to come back to the good stuff??

Default Wiring

Ryan Kuhlenbeck is helping me with wiring so we are doing the whole system from scratch. It gives us the flexibility to put things where and how we want them.

Attached is a photo of the fuse boxes that will be mounted in the trunk. I'm tired of the fuse boxes under the dash where they are hard to get at. These are modular and can be wired on the bench.

Ryan has helped me on my last 5 builds so we have a good mature game plan on the wiring.

This allows all the power to be switched in the trunk and all the circuits we need for engine, ABS, Vapor Work Fuel controller, body wiring.....

All the Mil Spec connectors are cool and allow a modular build up.
