I am actually doing drag week in Sept. with my buddy Frank. We are taking his twin turbo 63 ChevyII which runs mid 8's on pump gas. They are doing it in Oklahoma this year, I'm assuming due to the popularity of the Street Outlaws show.

Just putting it out there, if there are any members in the area for just in case reasons. The car is super consistent and reliable, but no chase/support vehicles are allowed. Have to trailer the slicks, tools, beer, etc.. Hate late night wrenching anymore, but with something like that it is very possible. If anybody is close with a lift etc., I'd appreciate any hospitality.

Thanks, Ron

Ron - if your doing drag week - expect late night fixes light every night...

If your not breaking something - your doing it wrong!

I've seen many horror stories of the most random crap breaking...

Not that I've ever done drag week.

The thing I do like about Drag Week, is you can drive the 250/300 mile run to the track and if the car is consistent, it can lay down one pass and your done. As long as we can lay down 8 sec passes at each venue I think the car will do well in the small block class. (6.0 ls1 iron block) hope it holds up.

Just thought I would post a contrast picture between the old and the new. Don't know if it was worth all the work for the minor differences, but it does clean it up I think.
