As that was shot in 2011, have you returned there? (Maybe that is a future episode...)

Looking forward to more...

Bill,

That was the last time for that event for the episodes. We may return there in the future. The Mojave Mile/Mojave Magnum (1.5 miles) is right in our back yard, so it's sometimes hard to justify going real far for a mile event unless we have more similar events we can hit while on the road.

However, Episode 4 is going to have some awesome footage of the Virginia City Hill Climb. We really pulled out all the stops while filming this one!

All of us hacks out here working alone in our garage look at the cars in the magazines like Big Red and think how easy it must be with all that help to engineer and construct a great car. Then you watch the show, and a Transmission breaks - twice, then you see an engine dyno resulting in less than ideal results.

There is some comfort that even with high level cars like Big Red, problems still kick you in the ass and all you can do is work through it without drama just like we do.

I’m not even a Camaro fan and I’ve been a fan of Big Red from the beginning because to me it represents an amazingly well built, and hard driven hot rod. Even better that it was built in the 80’s and brought out of mothballs to still kick some tail.
Mike and Rodney,

It's great to hear that people like something that's a departure from typical made up drama trying to make a car program interesting. This is what we wanted, so we were able to make the series without all the Hollywood types making us add more than what is real.
Believe me, we've had our share of problems on the track and with failed parts. Why not make lemonade?

After finally getting to watch the Texas Mile episode last night one of the things that impresses me most about Big Red and all three episodes is the true grassroots nature of the crew/team and operations.

I must say I was in agreement with her.

RJ, how far out do you guys plan your schedule of events to attend?
David,
Love your Camaro!

Your wife is right; we should have put in the monster and I said so at the time. I can only push the team so far!

We have not really planned much for next season. We have a few things tentatively planned, but a few things have to fall into place before we publicize them.

It has been a great trip down memory road for me.
Neil,
It's always good to hear from a fan that has a perspective of how much is involved with competing in these events. Thanks for watching!

Seig,

Thanks. That's the way it is, so it's easy to film it that way.

Well, I finally found the channel on my cable. Watched the hill climb last night. What an awesome show. Love the attitude, "Well we have no clutch, haul it back and we'll see what it is"

Not, "OMG, we have no clutch, what are we going to do, who can we call, there's not one within 1000 miles from here" type of show that we are forced to see these days.

This car is amazing. But what is more amazing is RJ's attitude and skill to drive this thing anywhere, anytime, as hard as he can.

Looks like I have found a Monday night show to watch.

Congrats on the 5th place finish.

Talking

Finally, a show with no bs. What an enjoyment! I've followed you guys, and you never disappoint. Awesome! The determination and experience is evident. I've always seen that in you guys. I love the real deal and thank you for sharing your experiences.
It's apparent it's a class act and so is everyone involved. Please answer me this: Why not a mechanical linkage clutch? Because heat, maybe? Or motor setback in chassis? One more thing, PLEASE open your show with a duet of Joan Jett and Billy Idol. They rock like you guys!

Thanks Bill! The hill climb was a great time. It's probably not our last hill climb.
I appreciate you liking something out of the ordinary and are okay without all the made up drama on our show.
