Time for an update. Went up to see the car for the first time time in months, and while I wish it was done of course, it was nice to say for the first time I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and the car looks to be getting close to getting running and time for troubleshooting and road tuning.
I did figure out I don't like the shifter location on my TKO 600, but I did originally plan to run a console, and now that has changed so we are sending back to Keisler to have them move that back about 3.5 inches. It would be okay if I kept the current bent shifter stick that came with it, but I am set on a straight stick, so that's gotta go. Oh well.
I also don't like the angle of the gauge panel that was built so that is getting modified so it sinks back into the dash area and lines up better with the sight path.
The stock tank we had baffled and sumped is interesting to me. It does hand out a tad bit lower than the pumpkin which I don't think is a problem, and I don't expect a fuel delivery/starvation issue (as least I was told this would be okay). Anyone disagree with that? I'm curious....
I took 50 pics and you can see more on my album (the last 50 at the bottom are the ones I took 2 days ago). But here are some of highlight photos of where things are at.
