Default Rotisserie agony !

I agonized over buying a rotisserie and finally started looking all over craiglist to buy a used one. Then it hit me that they have really good resale value. I decided I could resell it for within a few hundred dollars of what I paid as long as I keep it in good shape. The one I bought would cost me more to build than what I paid new for it. So, I finally decided to take the plunge. Only downside is that it is so nice that now I am thinking of keeping it :-) But the plus it breaks down in small pieces and will easily store in my shed if I decide to keep it. So there is one more way to look at it I guess !

Oh and I did build some DSE style stands first thing and I use them all the time. I even stacked them to mock up the tire locations when the car was on the rotisserie.

^ me too!

I'd first build those 2x4 stands with a little twist. I have a little add on so I can raise when I need another 10".

I builded my own rotisserie, made it a kinf HD version, it can be tow'ed with car/truck/ ATV, it has trailer hubs with 13" wheels or it can be pushed too.

After this pic was taken, I've shorten the uprights so it will fit inside my enclosed trailer and add'ed an towbar that turn the front wheels at the same time.

And also the pivetpoint of the car is made from trailer hubs so its easy to turn with one hand and locking wheel to lock the car to almost any position.
