Default I feel so violated!

Came home last night, after dinner and grocery shopping. The back door was wide open and every cupboard was open everything in the office was taken, my CAD workstation, all my check books credit cards passports social security cards. Jewelry hidden cash. the upstairs of my house looked like something you see out of a movie.

I pray to someday see these thieves face to face. I hope they catch them.
Been looking all day at pawn shops for my computer and stuff. nothing yet.
Yesterday and today has not been a good day.

Thieves, rapist, and child molesters should be shot in the head and left bleeding in the moonlight.

I am so sorry to here. With so many people out of work the crime rate is climbing. This is the first year that I'm not traveling with my family over the holiday's. I'm just to afraid to leave the house empty.

I was just talking to a co-worker about this yesterday. I think we are going to see some real desparate times as the holiday nears. Not to mention suicide rate. Seems to always go up around holiday season with depression and all - going to be worse with the economy the way it is unfortunately. Hopefully it will not be the case.

Didn't mean to hi jack your thread......

Safe's are not a good investment unless your trying to keep your wife and kids away from your guns or money.

My fathers neighbor was robbed about 2 years ago and they used a metal detector to locate all of the hidden safes in the house. They also found the bigger safe in his home and flipped it on it's back and opened it. Obviously they new what they were doing because then were able to get into all 3 of his safes.

So what is the solution - it's pretty easy. Put a couple fake air return vents in your walls and hang them on drywall screws. Make sure you glue the original screws on the front of the vents so it looks like a real vent.
