Dave,
Quick question, Am re-doing a 1967 cultass small block and am stuck on options on aftermarkert pulleys and brackets. Again, I dont see any other aftermarket brands except mondello performance that sells these olds stuff. What brackets are you using? orig? are there any other brands that sell what am looking for?
sorry to hi-jack this thread.

Again nice ride!

I believe Dick Miller Racing has a serpentine belt set-up but I think it is based off stock brackets. There is really nothing out there for SBOs but you can update with something like the G-body pulleys that look a little nicer than the older stuff. You could also use '77-'79 403 Olds Trans Am brackets and pulleys.

March only makes the BBOs set-up and I am not sure it could be adapted, but there is always a possibility.

Got an update for today...will have to snap some better pics real soon.

LS9 cam is installed as well as he heads and timing chain (with LS2 cam gear). Waiting on a couple things before I install the valley cover, PRs and rockers. Unfortunately I need to get the front accessory drive (with the balancer) before I can tighten down the timing cover and oil pan.

Waiting on a #10-AN bulkhead fitting for the Oil Pan. This will be my Turbo's return port. Want to get the accessory drive somewhat mocked up before I commit to where I am placing this thing. Want to make sure that there is sufficient clearance and as straight a shot for the drain back off the turbo.

Also received the Hotchkis tie rods and centerlink and am still waiting on my damn GM600 box from an Ebay vendor...when will I ever learn!?!

Ground down the rear UCA from BMR to work on the 12 Bolt...pretty typical so I wasn't surprised. Trying to get the rear installed by next weekend because I have a feeling I will be a little tied up...

GETTING MARRIED!!!!!

More to come dudes!

Anything special on installing that LS9 cam?

I'm going with a something similar - Edelbrock tvs2300, CNC ported L92/LS3 heads.... was wondering if that's a cheap viable cam option.

Nope, I may need slightly different length pushrods but it is a 3 bolt cam so I got the LS2 cam gear and front cover. Everything else is a very nice drop in. I'll grab some pics for you tonight!

Anyways, today is I painted the short block I scored right near my house. LY6 with fly cuts already done. I am throwing stock L92s on her (assuming USPS ever delivers them!!! ) but nevertheless, she is looking nice!

Olds W-30 Bronze! Enjoy!

Whats with the other Cutlass in the background, I've been looking for one of those(83-85) with t-tops and buckets.

Sorry about that...didn't know there was a reply here. That is my '84 Cutlass Supreme...my race car. Originally had a 403 Olds that ran 11.50s consistantly...someone bought that. Now, it is going to get a frame notch, pro-touring suspension and a Twin Turboed LS when the '69 442 is done. For now she sleeps and waits.

As for the '69, I will have a few updates in the next couple of days. Got a lot of stuff accomplished, I usually shutdown the car stuff over the winter and focus on my model railroading (I know...dork) but I am getting the bug again so I have a few presents on the way as well as the completed long block.

Stay tuned...

Here's a little taste:

Just a little something for mock-up to shove under her. 325 30-19s for $20...not bad.

I am really liking this build! Can't wait to see it completed! What were your plans for interior modifications?

Keep up the progress!
