Default More Update...

I know this may be hard for many to understand, but please remember this is My Car, I have been building it for 10 years and I know exactly the way I want it...so I'm doing what it takes to make that happen.

I've also spent a little time on the back of the car. Once I decided to go back to the one piece spoiler that meant the bolt holes in the quarters needed to be filled and since I was going to do that I decided to put the seam back in the tail panel the way I wanted it done. I feel it will make more since and create a better seperation between the body color and black tail panel.

After many hours and two Dremel bits I have most of the weld ground out and can start the mud work to finalize the seam.

Holes being welded up.

Holy crap batman!

Tony - as you know - I have seen the car after it got "painted" so know exactly what you're doing...

But mostly I'm just glad to see you tackling the job. It's therapeutic...

Tony its looking like you are gettin' serious here. I for one agree with what you are doing to the tail pan, and spoiler. As you said its your car, do what you want with it! keep it up man.

Way to go Tony! That's some serious work from where the car was at Bro. Keep at it and you'll be in the paint booth in no time. Let me know if you need a little extra paint...

Hey bud the car is looking good! I know what you mean about the inner fenders....I had a terrible time with mine. How is the fit with the bracket at the back of the inner that attaches it to the firewall? I had to make all new holes and weld up the original ones

Thanks Steve! I haven't attached that bracket...so I don't know how they will fit. Actually I'm not sure I even have those brackets. Have to look for them!

Ditto!

You'll have "MY Car" whipped into shape in no time if you keep this up.

I'm really glad to see you making such great progress. It's been a long haul and full of "ups &downs" but that light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.

July........hmmm......July.....something about July.......
