Brian...I think you're doing a fantastic job on that car. I love the flames in the stripes, and I like your choice of wheels too. Since you asked our opinions...the only thing I would change would be to make the rear wheel a little shorter, 20" would be perfect. But other than that, eveything else looks sick as hell. Keep up the great work....can't wait to see more updates.

Now on to another matter......

Quote:
TC is a much different place, very politically correct and intolerant of differing veiws. I get yelled at A LOT.
I learned my lesson there a few years ago. I was at the Camaro Street Nationals here in Michigan in 2001 and I told a story about a guy who I felt absolutely butchered his SS stripe on his '68 Camaro. It looked like a giant sword going down the fender and door. I mentioned to the guy that if he ever wanted to 'concourse' the car (because it was a numbers-matching SS) that he could purchase a stencel from Classic Industries that would give him the correct appearance of the stripe. He got offended (naturally). I posted a picture of his car and told the story to everyone at TC.....what followed might go down in history as one of the most spectacular 'flamings' in Message Board history. When they got done with me I came limping out of there covered in hot tar and feathers with my pants pulled down to my ankles and my hair on fire. Needless to say....I have never criticized anyones Camaro since then on a public forum and don't intend to in the future. Dad always said, "Son, If you've got nothing nice to say....you best keep your mouth shut".

With that said, I think there are some great people over there, and I can honestly say they have been the biggest help to me so far in my restoration with PT.COM a close 2nd (only because I had more questions in regards to the restoration area than I did the modification area). I don't get along very well with DJD, but everyone else has been great.

Life's too short to parpicitate in overbearing, unpleasant forums.

Parpicitate? I think I mean participate. You know--to be involved with.

You have a wicked Chevelle Brian. Build that Muthu E-X-actly the way you want it. I have asked some of the guys here their opinions on my 69 Vert (I'm doing something a little different).I should have the rendering completed in a few weeks and I'll want feedback then. Some liked it, other so-so. You'll find a lot of support here. Keep the pix coming.

i'll keep you all updated on the dash. the gauges are on thier way still and thats about all thats left. however about 6 things i really needed for the show are on backorder from everywhere. like drip rail chrome and tail light lenses. so i jumped on ebay and got some to make sure i will make the show. as of right now were working on the audio part of the car. its a simple set up with a crazy instal. kick panels rear deck and 2 12s. im using all Rockford components. some more bad pictures for you, but i said id keep ya'all updated. 25 days left tell show.......

and yes the whole cars dynomatted.
