Ah ha!! So he'll come out to get drunk but not to run with his buddies! I see how it is now....

lol... I already google mapped to see how far Thunderhill is from Glen Ellen... It just over 2 hours...

Not sure Barney will fit in my suitcase on a SWA flight...but that doesn't mean I can't swing out and just spectate (read supervise) for a little while though.

Have to run that one by the missus...see if she's ready to head back to Wine Country.

No need to squeeze it, weld would have come get it for you just to try your local BBQ joints.

Great track that's hard to hurt yourself on...

Driving school if you want it...

Various levels from beginner to intermediate to advanced... so choose which group you'd be comfortable in. I'm living proof that you can go fast enough in Yellow to spin....

$460 for about 10 x 20 minute session over two days... By the time they call for the 4th session on Sunday, you'll be too tired to answer the bell.

Fuel right there on the premises.... and a Race store in case you need something (sadly - they don't sell talent...or I'd have bought a case)
Sounds like a fun weekend plan. Hanging out with the guys, getting in some track time, and watching Sieg drive the Lotus

Thunderhill is on my list for doing a track day event. I'm not sure I'll have the car all back together in time for May... we’ll see how it goes. I’m a maybe.

Come on Dale! Put down the keyboard and get out there and put her together. Tick tock... tick tock...

Would be fun if you can make it!

I'm sure it will be a fun time.

The track days are always fun, but the stories & jokes at the bar Saturday night may be the highlight. I may even pull out a few of mine.

I don't think Lance really likes his wine.... I showed him my Balthazar of Quintessa (my son Alex paraded it around trying to steal it!) - etched, autographed, and everything as an enticement and he never so much as commented!
