Mind you this car is actually being build to be driven with very limited auto-cross.
This quite disturbing as I included the c-clip eliminators to my Moser rear end when I ordered it directly from Moser and told them the car was primarily for street use but occasional track use. The guy NEVER said no, this won't work for you!!

From Moser website in the FAQ section:

Can I use c-clip eliminators for street use?

Answer - We do NOT recommend using C-Clip Eliminators for street use; a C-Clip Eliminator is made for drag race only ( As a safety issue so you do not loose an axle, if it breaks ).C-Clip Eliminators are made for the straight shot down the strip. If you use C-Clip Eliminators on the street the aluminum block will eventually flex from cornering or just going around curves causing the C-Clip Eliminator to leak Rearend fluid.

Scott I think if I remember correctly don't you have the Ford Big bearing ends on your housing?? If so then you shouldn't have any issues?

Now that the body work is complete Kenny applied the Line-X protective coating to the underside of the car because I plan to keep and
drive this car.

I plan on doing the same, looking good Marty

STRANGE C-CLIP ELIMINATOR FOR STREET APPLICATION

http://www.competitionplus.com/drag-...t-application-

Strange Engineering, Morton Grove Illinois, introduces a new style, specifically designed for street and/or strip, c-clip eliminator for most 10 & 12-bolt GM car rear ends equipped with c-clip style axles. In the past, c-clip eliminators for these applications have been designed for drag racing, which use ball bearings. Ball bearing c-clip kits are fine for drag racing, but are prone to leaking and premature failure when used for prolonged street use. Our specially designed c-clip eliminator kit (A1033) utilizes Timken unit (tapered) bearings, which survive severe side loads and constant use.

The Strange A1033 also features two seals per axle shaft, ensuring a completely sealed axle end. Complete axle and c-clip eliminator packages are also available.
none of this bothers me , he never drives anything !
