Default SEMA Prep

I dropped my car off to the VanNus's Tuesday night to get "tuned up" for SEMA. I got to their house Saturday night late. The car looked great they had fixed all the road rash and track abuse from the summer.

So undaunted we loaded it up Sunday morning and took it back to Gingerman race way for the last testing.

The car is working great! They had us on the new longer course so the lap times aren’t comparable. We were blowing by C-6 Z06s like they were sign posts. Lots of fun. I ran the car hard and only found a couple small problems with ABS calibrations and high speed track use.

After logging about 50 miles on Gingerman we had to take the car back to the VanNus's house to clean it up and fix more paint chips. Joe did not look impressed. lol I took his perfect car and trashed it again. We were lucky with a very good weather so we washed it out in the driveway.

We had a small pile of rubber under the car after we scraped off the wheel wells.

When I left Paul and Joe were touching up paint chips again. Sorry guys.

The car leaves for SEMA today. The car looks better than it did in June.

that reminds me of our last session at Thunderhill in Charleys Mustang with you driving. We were flying through the field, picking off everyone at ease, like being in the zone.

Are you keeping Joe and Paul on retainer for touch-ups?

I think I'm testing Joes' easy going nature with all my antics.

We kept joking “that will buff out”. The car looks awesome they did a great job fixing a summer of abuse.

With such a beautiful paint job you should protect it with some clear film on the front and lower half. I think Rupp did it to Penny.
